InEdge AI Platform Pvt. Ltd. (“InEdge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and disclose information when you use the InEdge Cloud platform and our website at www.inedge.ai (collectively, the “Service”).

This policy is designed to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) of India and other applicable data protection regulations.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, organization name, and authentication credentials (or OAuth tokens from third-party providers like GitHub, Google, or GitLab).

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including API calls, deployment logs, resource usage metrics, and feature interactions. This data is used to operate and improve the Service.

Payment Information: If you use a paid plan, payment details are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers.

Technical Data: We collect IP addresses, browser type, device information, and referring URLs for security, analytics, and troubleshooting purposes.

Your Application Data: Data you deploy, store, or process on the Service (“Customer Data”) is stored on our infrastructure. We do not access Customer Data except as necessary to provide the Service, troubleshoot issues at your request, or comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process transactions and send billing notifications
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and security alerts
  • Monitor and enforce our Terms of Service and acceptable use policies
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents
  • Generate aggregated, anonymized analytics to improve our platform
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use Customer Data for advertising or profiling purposes.

All Customer Data and account information is stored on infrastructure located in India. We do not transfer your data outside of India unless you explicitly configure your deployments to do so, or as required to comply with applicable law.

We use industry-standard encryption for data at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+) to protect your information.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., payment processing, email delivery, analytics), subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal Compliance: When required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of InEdge, our users, or the public.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
  • With Your Consent: We may share information with your explicit consent for purposes not covered by this policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal information and Customer Data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention or financial records).

Usage logs and anonymized analytics data may be retained for up to 24 months for platform improvement purposes.

7. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws, including the DPDPA, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
  • Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for processing where consent is the legal basis
  • Grievance Redressal: File a grievance with our Data Protection Officer

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers on our platform.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
